I have decided to take a break from The Resident. 

My husband (Ben) and I are designing and building our own home, I am now working three days and have a 20 month old who has just decided trantrums are cool. (so not by the way!) I can't give The Resident the love and attention it needs to thrive, so I'm sending her on a little holiday until our family priorities are complete and we are all settled in our new town, Milton.

I would love to continue my business in our new home next year. I will keep you updated and send out a letter when we start up again.

THE RESIDENT’s owner and designer Lauren Price started her career as a workplace interior designer and over the last ten years she has developed a love for aesthetics and an appreciation of beauty in the home. “There is nothing more comforting and exciting about a home that is true to the owner's personality”.

THE RESIDENT is about using 100% linen and denim and designing with inspiration from the fashion runway. Lauren has a keen interest in fashion so it was natural to start the inspiration there. Fashion is a way of showing someone’s personality and that same idea can be expressed at home.

THE RESIDENT is a passionate young Australian company and promises to push boundaries in design to continually bring customers something diverse that they can’t find elsewhere.
